Overview
Ukiyo-e Heroines: Stories Told in Sets of Ukiyo-e Prints
“Kumimono (sets of ukiyo-e)” and “tsuzuki-e (sets of ukiyo-e forming a continuous composition)” of bijinga (pictures of beauties) by Utagawa Kunisada, Kuniyoshi, and Keisai Eisen are introduced in three sessions to illustrate the expanse and stories generated from the correlations among the pictures.
*The exhibits will be changed during the duration of the exhibition.

Iwahashi Eien, Hokkaido Reminiscence is introduced.
With Kids ’24: Why This Shape?
We are starting “With Kids” as a new project in the hope of becoming a museum that children will want to bring adults to. The current theme is “Why this shape?” Glass boxes and wondrous cups are introduced.
Art Gallery Hokkaido: The Past and Present of Tomakomai Port - From the Tomakomai City Museum Collection
“Art Gallery Hokkaido” is a project designed to introduce characteristic museums in various parts of Hokkaido. Featured here is the collection from the Tomakomai City Museum with focus on the history of port, which has been modified in accordance with the development of the town.

*Over 65-year-olds, junior high school students and younger, holders of disability ID and a caregiver, etc. are admitted free of charge. Please show a disability certificate at the reception desk.
*Senior high school students are admitted free on Saturdays and when visiting for educational purposes.
*Free entry for all on July 17 (Hokkaido Citizens’ Day) and July 21 (Museum’s Birthday) and Nov. 1-7 (Art Week).
