National Treasure, Frolicking Animals, Volume 1, Heian Period, 12th Century, Konsan-ji, Kyoto *On view from Tuesday, July 9 to Sunday, July 28

While tracing the life and teachings of Myoe, the restorer and founder of Kosan-ji, Kyoto, through master paintings including National Treasure Frolicking Animals, sculptures, craftworks, classical books and documents, etc. handed down by this temple, the development of Kosan-ji continuing to the present day is introduced.

*The exhibits will be changed during the duration of the exhibition.

Elementary school students and younger: free
