Special Exhibition: Kunisada, Hiroshige and Kuniyoshi: Amusements in Edo from the Japan Ukiyo-e Museum Collection

The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum in Matsumoto, Nagano boasts a collection of more than 100,000 ukiyo-e, one of the largest in Japan. From their collection, works by Utagawa Kunisada, Hiroshige, Kuniyoshi, and other ukiyo-e artists of the latter half of the Edo period depicting “amusements” enjoyed by the masses of Edo will be introduced.
