We collect works by signature artists associated with four Eastern regions of Hokkaido -- Tokachi, Kushiro, Nemuro, and Okhotsk; their media range across oil painting, Japanese-style painting, sculpture, printmaking, and fine craft.  Examples include Nose Masami, Kanda Nissho, and Sato Yoshinori from Tokachi, Ikeda Ryoji and Kosaka Kazuko from Nemuro, and Teshima Keisaburo from Okhotsk.  They explore and develop unique expressions and depictions rooted in their community.
