Kotaro on Tour: mima Traveling Exhibition 2026
The Migishi Kotaro Museum of Art will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2027. This year, as we build up to this significant anniversary, our collection will be making appearances across Sapporo as part of the mima Traveling Exhibition 2026, creating opportunities for even more people to learn about our museum and the life and art of Migishi Kotaro.

Originally built in 1936 as a villa for Mitsui & Co., Ltd, it has been the Hokkaido Governor's Official Residence since 1953.
Registered Tangible Cultural Property.
Closed: Weekends and National Holidays (open every day during summer vacation), Dec 29th – Jan 3rd
Open: 9am to 5pm (last admission 4:30pm)
Admission: Free
