Glad to Have You Back, Kotaro - A Solo Exhibition After 95 Years

With masterpieces from our collection, we reproduce part of Kotaro’s 1932 Hoheikan solo exhibition in the first floor’s lower hall.
Hoheikan, Important Cultural Property of Japan
1-20 Nakajima Park, Chuo-ku, Sapporo
Originally built in 1880 at Kita 1-jo, Nishi 1-chome as a western-style hotel under the direct management of the Hokkaido Development Commission. Relocated within Nakajima Park in 1958 and designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan in 1964.
Closed: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month (or the following day if Tuesday falls on a holiday)
Open: 9am to 5pm (last admission 4:30pm), 9am to 8pm on every 4th Friday (last admission 7:30p.m.)
Admission: Adults - \350 (\300*), University and High School Students - \150, Middle School Students and Younger - Free
