This exhibition presents works by notable painters such as by YOKOYAMA Taikan (1868–1958), HISHIDA Shunso (1874–1911), and SUGIYAMA Yasushi (1909–1993). The Japanese-style paintings are drawn from the Nihonga collection (deposited in the Hiroshima Museum of Art) of the CP CHEMICAL INCORPORATED, headquartered in Ibara, Okayama. Enjoy the beautiful and heartwarming world of Nihonga as you pass through a variety of eras.
