100th Anniversary ot the Birth of Yamashita Kiyoshi

a Retrospective

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kiyoshi Yamashita (1922-1971), known as a wandering genius painter, approximately 190 works such as pencil drawings from his childhood, oil paintings, watercolor paintings, pen drawings, and ceramics in his later years, as well as related materials such as backpacks and yukata that he brought with him on his travels, will be exhibited, focusing on his masterpiece "Nagaoka no Hanabi" and other paste-up paintings.
Please take a look at the figure of Kiyoshi Yamashita, an artist who is different from the image introduced in TV dramas and movies.
