With Hokkaido's wildlife as the main characters, picture books by printmaker Tejima Keizaburo (1935 - ), printed in the simultaneously bold and gentle medium of woodcut, are highly esteemed both nationally and internationally. This exhibition spotlights Tejima's mystical and romantic world of mother nature, portrayed in his original book illustrations and manuscripts.
