Special Exhibition Room

Yamamoto Nizo (b. 1953) is a leading art director and background artist of the Japanese animation world. He has been involved in many animation films including Studio Ghibli works and has been producing a characteristic world of poetic scenery. In addition to the backgrounds Yamamoto has designed so far, this exhibition also includes image boards and utensils. Introduced here is a world of animation art backed by ingenious technique and acute sensitivity.
