【Special Exhibitions】EGUCHI HISASHI - illustration exhibition [Kanojo]

Eguchi Hisashi started his career as a popular comedy manga artist with his Susume!! Pirates (1977) and Stop!! Hibari-kun! (1981) in Weekly Shōnen Jump. His cool and fashionable girl characters grabbed the heart of his fans; he continues to be the leading artist in today's "bijinga" [portrayal of beautiful women] genre. With his 400 illustrations, this exhibition looks at his forty years of artful story-telling – about youth culture and the beauty of women.
